You already know more than you think
My job isn't to hand you a life plan. It's to ask the questions that surface what you already sense, and help you act on it.

I work with people who are contemplating divorce, going through one, or figuring out what comes next — and who don't want to spend the next few years on autopilot. Most of my clients are competent, thoughtful adults who have handled hard things before, and who are surprised by how disorienting it can be when so many parts of life change at once.
I came to this work through my own experience with divorce and rebuilding afterward. I realized how much support exists for navigating the legal, financial, and emotional aspects of divorce — and how little exists for the bigger question underneath all of it: What do I actually want my life to look like now?
For me, answering that question started with getting clear about what mattered most to me — my values, priorities, and the kind of life I wanted to be living. From there, I could think more intentionally about everything from parenting and relationships to career, friendships, my home, and how I spent my time. It wasn't about recreating the life I'd had. It was about building a life that actually reflected what mattered to me.
That's the work I now help other people do: step out of reaction mode, identify what matters most to them, and make thoughtful choices about what comes next.
I'm an attorney by training and the founder of WorkBetter for Lawyers, a professional development company focused on helping lawyers build the skills they need to succeed in their careers. My background includes years of coaching and professional development work, and I've also completed training in coaching methods and techniques.
My work here is coaching, not legal, therapeutic, or financial advice — and when something belongs with one of those professionals, I'll tell you.

Big decisions made in a rush tend to get remade later. I help you slow down where it counts so you can move confidently everywhere else.
Getting through the next month matters. But you're aiming at a life you'll still be glad you built in ten years.
The initial consultation is a chance for us to talk about what you're looking for and whether my approach matches what you need. I'm clear about what I do — and what I don't do — and if I think you'd be better served by a different kind of support, I'll tell you.
